The show's premise is simple - eight or nine guys, all close friends, meet in their local pub for a chat and a sing-song, to swap stories and have a few laughs. Get there early, and you can go on stage and have a pint at the bar, where you'll chat with the performers and other audience members.

The second show, "Choir of Man," has no narrative but is instead a combination of music, dancing and outstanding singing. The show, which is 30 minutes shorter than the original version, does feel a bit rushed at times, but the performers give their all and the music (by Cyndi Lauper) will get you clapping. It's all about accepting people for who they are, and you'll leave smiling. etc.Norwegian Encore's main theater is the place to catch two great shows throughout your voyage: the Broadway and West End hit "Kinky Boots," and the boisterous "Choir of Man," which might just be the more popular of the two, despite being the lesser well-known.įor those who don't know, "Kinky Boots" is a redemption story of a young man from a middle class English neighborhood who rescues his family's shoemaking business by creating sensational "kinky" boots (think red leather and 6-inch stilettos) for drag queens. Now you can show up however you wish and yes, there are super luxurious "locker" areas, rest areas with a fire place, beverages, etc., showers, etc. During the Covid restrictions period they asked that guests show up in robes as the showers and other wet areas were closed or you could change in your treatment room. You can get the pass in the morning but decide to go later in the day.Īnd you can show up now however you wish. The other way is to have the pass, which also gives you access for the entire day. But I love a steam so I'll likely show up at 8 am when they open to have a shower there and get a good steam to start my first full day. I'm having a massage, for example, at 3 pm my first full day in Vegas as there's not enough time for a really long massage (I book two together) that morning before a slot tournament. One is to book a treatment, in which case you have access to the spa the entire day, regardless of your treatment. The spa opens at 8 am and, for now, treatments starts at 9 am though treatments also used to start at 8 am.Ĭlick to expand. You can access the spa two ways. I confirmed that the pass is good for the entire day. I also assume during the week is less busy than the weekend, so there will likely be more passes available on a Tuesday than a Saturday. Alternatively, in my experience spa traffic tends to die down near the end of the day so you could in theory get a pass for a few hours near the end of the day. IF you were going to enjoy the spa for many hours I think the pass, even at that amount, could be worth it, but for potentially $100 more + tip you could have a treatment with the use of the spa included.Īlso, given that there will be a limit on the number of passes each day if you do want to get a pass I would recommend going early in the day to get it. Treatments, which include unlimited access to the spa for the day of your treatment, start at around $200 on the weekends but are a bit less during the week. The not great news is that the passes are now $75 rather than I think the $40 or $50 that they were before. There were will be a certain number of passes offered each day depending on how many spa treatments/guests are booked as they don't want the spa to be too crowded (which I appreciate) so it can be a relaxing experience for all guests.

The Encore spa IS now offering spa passes, on a limited basis.
